Process: Day 3 & 4
Lights, Camera, Action!
1.) Now it's your turn to tell the story of Thanksgiving! Pretend you are either a Pilgrim or a Native American. Create an iMovie from the perspective of a character in the list below. Refer to your graphic organizers for information about your character.
2.) Choose one of the following characters:
- A passenger on the Mayflower (you can make up a name or use your own)
- A Native American (you can make up a name or use your own)
3.) Guidelines:
*If you're a Pilgrim: Describe your journey from England to Plymouth and the hardships you had to endure. What was it like to finally reach land and to meet the Native Americans? Did you enjoy your Thanksgiving feast with the Native Americans?
*If you're a Native American: Describe your first meeting with the Pilgrims. What was your first impression of them? How did you help the Pilgrims settle? Did you enjoy your Thanksgiving feast with the Pilgrims?
4.) Complete the iMovie Outline sheet and have Ms. Jansen approve and sign it. Once she has signed it, you may begin making your iMovie.
5.) If you're unsure how to create an iMovie, follow the directions on the "How to Make an iMovie" sheet.
Be prepared to share your iMovie with the rest of the class!
